Omg, talk about not posting anything for ages. XD

So, today, I remembered I still had a ~working~ lj account. Also today, I came across a draft in my "edit entries" page. Oh, and today, I post this.

For tomorrow, I shall face the CLE chapter test. :>

This is another poem, and it's a bit of a letdown, in my opinion, compared to The Jester and His Girl, which I still consider to be my greatest work. However, without the pressure of comparison, I guess it's "okay". Once I get around to digging this up a couple of years from now, I might rewrite some things, but for now, it's fine. Acceptable. Okay. Enjoy~

PS. I suggest you start reading The Umbrella Academy. It's wizard.

Taking the time to post some pics for the not-so-apparent reason that my journal's sort of lagging in the picture department. So okay. I'm sharing this because I've always wanted to share this it has Sasha Pivovarova and Dhani Harrison (George Harrison's son, if you didn't know) in one. Because. Strange resemblances to George Harrison (the Beatles' guitarist, if you didn't know) and Pattie Boyd (George Harrison's first wife, if you didn't know).

Watch.

Click, and you will see.

... Assuming that you care, of course. Which I doubt you do.
But you can't blame me for wanting to share this. It is pretty.
Anyway, I demand that you like this.

Yay for Like-Father-Like-Son thingymajigs~

I have never viewed myself as a poetry person. It wasn't my "turf", it wasn't my forte, it wasn't my style, and I made it a firm point that I wrote stories, and nothing else (possibly scripts from time to time, but I've never really focused much on that). Lately, however, I've been giving my writing a lot of thought, and, since I've already got myself a story about sex (I've always thought of that as, for some reason, a sort of "stepping stone"), I might as well tackle poetry. This is what I have chosen to write, and, to me, it reads a bit like a normal story, only in poem form. I'm not sure. I quite like it though, considering its First Time status.

I haven't really written stories with sex before, so that must make it obvious that I have never written stories about sex, either. It's an interesting venture, though, writing one about such a topic. I'm not regretting that I wrote this story, and I am, in fact, rather happy that I was, with a bit of indie music and toasted bread and peanut butter, able to start and finish it in one afternoon. I reread through it a couple of times and am glad that I refrained from making it too erotic and serious by adding in the boy's thoughts during his first shot at intercourse. The boy/persona can be anyone you like, and the girl can also be anyone you like (as long as she has, I suppose, brown hair), but the characters in this story were -- and still are -- originally meant to be a girl named Stellar Brooke and a boy named Davyn Bishop Jr. Certain people know who these characters are.

...

Also. Apologies to [info]bakagaki , but I felt I had to write it down somehow. XD
